In my spare time I enjoy playing snooker and pool, and was a member of the University Pool Club during my final year at university. To keep fit I have practiced martial arts, and have tried a number of different styles whilst attending University.
I am a huge electronic music fan, and have even dabbled in producing music, as well as being a member of the University Of Teesside Clubbing Society. I very much enjoy the social aspects of joining clubs and societies such as these, and find the socialising elements as rewarding as the activities I take part in.
Modern film and cinema are certainly one of my passions, and I also like to develop websites in my free time. I do this not only because I enjoy it, but also because it helps me to learn new concepts and technologies relating to my preferred area of employment.
I have also travelled to different parts of Europe and America. A non-educational trip to New York sparked my interest in travelling, and I have since visited Italy and Germany to visit friends who have moved abroad. I find that when an opportunity presents itself I like to take it, as I may regret not doing so in the future. Having the opportunity to see different parts of the world appeals to me, as does experiencing new things in general.
