Welcome to my blog. I update it whenever I feel as though I've got something (un)useful to say, or if something generally pops into my head that I think should be written down somewhere. I might even be persuaded to write something useful from time to time.
Yesterday I recorded my first mix with the CDJs and figured I'd put it up for download. I only attempted one recording, as it took me a couple of hours just to sort that out, and I couldn't be bothered to re-record a better version. So there's a couple of iffy transitions, but apart from that it's all good.

Some of the tracks are old, some of them are new, and there are various styles going on, but unless you're really bothered about all that it'll just sound the same to you anyways. It's all a bit random, but awesome.
If people like it I'll record some more, and if people don't like it... I'll still record some more. Sod the lot of ya!
Yeah that's right, those beasty 400's have made an appearence at my house. I've been thinking about getting some for a while now, but figured I deserved them, so to hell with it, I got them.
I whacked a couple of pics of them up on Facebook for people to have a gander at. I'll be doing another mix at some point too, but I think I'll need to get the practice in first. I'm shocking!
Once I've done a couple of mixes, I'll put them up for download if anyone wants them.
It's been a while since I last made a blog entry. I'd forgotten all about it to be honest! Anyways, I got a letter today from Madrid, Spain. I'd just like to say, if anyone gets a letter telling them they've won the spanish lottery - I don't need to tell you it's a scam. A quick Google search for El Gordo Spanish Sweepstake shows a whole load of people who've been scammed by them since 2003.
It makes me laugh how people still get away with this sort of thing. It makes me laugh harder when you find out that people still get conned like this. It's a shame, though, coz there must be a fair few uninformed people on the net these days who get taken advantage of. I just want to know how these people get names and addresses to send spam out to...

OK so it's been a while since I last posted here on my blog, but to be honest I've had a lot of other stuff going on. And not a lot of it has been good either. But I guess you can't mope around feeling sorry for yourself forever, so here I am, making the best of it.
Well, it's nearly Christmas, and for once I'm actually organised. All presents bought, bank account emptied, and everyone actually knows what they're doing. I guess a certain someone has been a good influence on me, even if they're not really part of my life anymore.

Exciting news everyone - I got a new PC... case. OK so it isn't really that exciting, but the thing looks pretty sweet. I got a new PC a few months ago from the boys over at Big Pockets but a couple of the parts were a bit cheap and nasty - so I decided to upgrade them. So I went and bought one of these monsters from Ebuyer.
And what a monster it is too. It looks good, works a treat and keeps things nice and cool inside le PC. For anyone thinking of getting a new PC case, I'd definitely recommend it.
Well after the last eBay ordeal (which I've still got to sort out) I thought I'd had enough of eBay. But oh no. Today I found myself eyeing up a couple of N95s again. And as if that wasn't bad enough, the guy I found selling one sounds even more dodgy than the last guy.
At least he was honest though. He reckons he hasn't actually got the phones he's selling, but people can buy one off of him anyway. And he also reckons that he only accepts bank transfers (which are completely unprotected against scams) because he is having "fraud" issues with his PayPal account.
So I did what any sensible, sane and (supposedly) intelligent person who'd recently been ripped off for £300 would do in that situation: I bought one. I hope to God it all works out this time lol! We shall see...
Damn that eBay, and all it's appeal! I tell you, I've purposely never bought anything off of Ebay because, quite frankly, I dont trust the people on there. So you'll be as surprised as I was when I tell you that about 10 days ago I found myself browsing for a new mobile on there.
I've had my phone for about three years, and dont use it enough to warrent getting a contract, but I wanted a spanking new Nokia N95, because it's awesome. So I found a good 'Buy It Now' thingy on eBay, and went for it.
£287 and 10 days later, I've still not had my phone. And neither have any of the other five buyers who bought a phone from this guy. "It's a problem with Nokia's phones" he says. Then "It's a problem with the delivery" he cries. I don't believe it, but I'm hoping he isn't lying, or that'll be the only time I buy off of Ebay. Bewares, is all...

That's right, it's about time. Ever since I whipped up my last site (just to get myself a job really) I've wanted a new one. I've been working on this site (on and off) for months, and I still haven't finished it, but I just couldn't wait any longer to put this site online.
So here it is. It's got a lot of the same bits and pieces as the last site, but it's just built a little better. And it's got this blog, which is nice.
At some point I'll be adding a load of extra features to the blog, like searching and whatnot, but for now I've just got to make do. I've got a lot of other things going on right now, and I just needed to tick off some things on the ol' to-do list. So that's why this site is online (but only half finished lol).
